Raw Redux (November 17th, 2014): The Champ Makes an Impact, The Bunny and Nattie Distract

Tuesday has rolled by yet again and it’s time for the Diva Dirt Raw Redux, with yours truly! I hope everyone is not too heartbroken about The Great Khali‘s release. I know that it’s been a tough, emotional time for everyone. *grabs violin*

Not so emotionally harrowing was this week’s Raw, which sadly only provided us with one match, yet storylines were progressed again. Just a shame the main one centred around the title is a generic “You have the title, I automatically hate you” kind of deal.

This week, we were treated to appearances from Lana, Natalya and Stephanie McMahon whilst Brie Bella, dressed as AJ Lee, was forced by her sister Nikki Bella to get beaten up by her. Nice girl! AJ Lee was at ringside for commentary too. For once, the announce desk was somewhat tolerable to listen to! Without further ado, let’s go!

Our first Diva sightings of the night are beautiful sights to behold indeed, as Lana and everyone’s favourite MILF Stephanie McMahon start the show as part of an address from Team Authority. Stephanie is rocking the red and she’s looking confident. No doubt that look will change when she gets “fired” come Sunday. Stephanie starts off subtle on the mic and then starts snarling like the best of them like only she can as HHH shades WCW.

Stephanie says that Team Cena are basically idiots for not realising what is best for business. She then starts growling everyone’s names in her team like she has a horny tiger in her mouth but hey, she’s putting her team across well. Then Ryback interrupts her and I tune out as I get my sick bag…

Can Grumpy Cat be classed as an honorary Diva? I’m not so sure, yet as she is female and well, I’m sure she’s had a few Diva demands in her time, check our horrendously awful comedy segment with The Miz and Damien Mizdow. WHY COULDN’T THEY HAVE HER SIT ON RON SIMMONS‘ LAP AND HE SPAN ON A SPINNY CHAIR? I’m clearly way too invested in my own made up storylines.

Up next, Tyson Kidd is in action alongside Natalya as he faces off Adam Rose. Adam Rose enters the arena first and one female Rosebud in particular is making me howl. The girl in the Christmas Elf outfit is owning her role. She wants that WWE contract!

After Tyson and Nattie make their way to the ring, the match begins. Towards the end of the match, The Bunny waves at Nattie and starts flirting with her! Natalya may as well go along with, that’s the closest she’ll be getting to being at like rabbits! Sadly, The Bunny distracted Adam Rose, resulting in him losing again. Trouble in hallucinogenic paradise continues as The Bunny starts humping Adam Rose from behind! If this seriously leads to Darren Young being revealed as The Bunny like it has been rumoured, how offensively stereotypical.

The weirdly sexual theme continues later as Lana and Rusev make their way out and Lana says that she is going to share a topless photo with everyone. She then reveals a shirtless Vladimir Putin on horseback. Brokeback Putin in cinemas 2015.

Next up, Stephanie, who JBL amazingly (I know I can’t believe I’m complimenting him either) refers to as Big Show‘s “ultimate opponent”. Stephanie addresses Big Show and tears him up. A+ mic work. Stephanie on the mic is most definitely best for business. Steph then turns some major sarcasm on by mocking Sheamus and his joke. So good!

I’m not entirely sure if match graphics are classed as Divas sightings yet Rosa Mendes of all people is seen on a graphic for the Survivor Series Kick-Off show. She is announced as Fandango‘s new dance partner, which the commentators completely ignore as the graphic is on screen. Way to go guys.

Finally, it’s match time everyone. It’s always scary when WWE leaves it till hour 3 to give us a Divas match. Almost as scary as Claire Lynch. WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee’s music hits, yet out comes Brie Bella, dressed just like AJ and she’s got the skip and sitting on the middle rope down to a T! If only she was as good at performing as her own character…

Brie’s sister Nikki is her opponent for this ‘Exhibition Match’, announced by Lilian. I’ve finally seen her on TV again instead of just hearing her – wahoo! The real AJ Lee makes her way out for commentary and Nikki Bella has a big grin on her face. She can’t wait to get her chance at the title come Sunday. She’s cocky, confident and amazingly hot acting it.

The twins lock-up before Nikki declares that she’s not ready and she does some star jumps to limber up. Do what you’ve got to do Nikki. AJ jokes that Brie looks better as her then even she does which was pretty funny. Nikki hits a sweet armdrag before dropping Brie again with a shoulder block. Brie is going to take some serious punishment me thinks! Nikki looks pretty pleased with herself as she hits a few successive backbreakers that leave Brie writhing in pain.

Nikki goes for a cover yet she pulls Brie off the mat; she wants to deal that damage! Nikki rips at Brie’s roots and then picks her up by her ears, tossing her into the turnbuckle. Nikki charges at Brie next, yet gets elbowed in the face! Nikki snaps and then goes slap-happy and Brie covers up as best as she can. Nikki then hoists Brie up for The Rack Attack yet AJ dives on the apron to provide a distraction. Brie then takes Nikki down with a schoolgirl and gets an upset win!

After the match, Nikki is grumpier than the angry pussy guest hosting Raw. She rips at Brie’s hair and slaps her as she aims to show her dominance. Unfortunately for Nikki, AJ is the one who shows who is boss as she knocks Nikki out with a Shining Wizard. Brie starts a major YES! chant going yet AJ cuts that short, kicking Brie in the stomach and dropping her with a DDT. Point proven.

It’s Main Event time and the final two members of Team Cena are revealed, following Sheamus being taken out earlier on. Cue one of the most random segments of the year filled with so much Stephanie snarling.

Thoughts: I was happy with this week’s Raw overall, yet maybe I’m easily pleased.

Addressing what I didn’t like; I was not a fan of Lana’s segment. It just seemed really bizarre and what with The Bunny humping Adam Rose beforehand, Raw was strangely sexual. Couple that with Luke Harper‘s “I’m a team player” line… *shudders*

I’m also not a fan of not seeing Paige and Alicia. I know they will be on Superstars this week, and whilst I’m happy about that actually due to the match most likely being longer, a minute and a half long backstage catfight or something would have been phenomenal. Think if they exchanged words and then started knocking seven shades of shit out of each other – how awesome would that be? WWE never hype something for Superstars, yet why not? Just because it’s WWE’s least watched show, doesn’t mean some buzz can’t be created around it. I really don’t get WWE sometimes.

Onto Grumpy Cat… yeah. Moving on.

The Divas Championship picture is once again interesting, yet then again, elements are also boring as hell. I am loving Nikki Bella. She is owning her role; from her in-ring work, to her mannerisms, annoying voice (not sure that is intentional), facial expressions and of course, her stunning look, she is doing it for me right now. Brie selling moves and talking less is also paying dividends. Her subtle acting that didn’t need dialogue was well done too. I also really enjoy Nikki’s aggressive and believable catfight style. The Bellas don’t care less about being each other’s real-life twin, they throw down. They have great chemistry and Nikki was knocking Brie around like a ragdoll in the aftermath.

AJ held her own, and her attacking Brie is a perfect example of what makes her character intriguing, yet I still feel that Brie and Nikki’s feud is the main one here, and AJ is an afterthought. I honestly would like to see Nikki take the title come Sunday and have AJ mix it up with the guys some more like she did last year.

Onto Natalya and when she’s not farting or interacting with Khali and Hornswoggle, she’s having awkward moments with bunnies. I thought this may be all we would get between them yet tonight’s Main Event will see Nattie and Tyson facing Adam and The Bunny in an interspecies tag team match. LOL.

The MVP for me this week, like a lot of weeks, was Stephanie McMahon. She had a couple of stutters tonight, yet she owns the mic. Every line is delivered with a maniacal conviction and I sound like a broken record, yet her snarling is so good. Not good when she’s trying to smile for a photograph, yet it’s good for every other time!

On this day in history:

November 19th, 2000 | At 2000’s Survivor Series, Lita and Ivory went head-to-head for Ivory’s Women’s Championship. While it was a well fought match, its most memorable moment was unscripted: at one point, Ivory’s boot heel caught Lita on the eyebrow and cut her open. Soon enough, Lita’s face was a veritable “crimson mask”. Proving her toughness, Lita carried on with the rest of the match, and though she lost, her efforts earned the respect of many.

WWE Main Event Redux (November 18th, 2014): Foxy Sneaks Out a Win & Natalya Squares off With the Bunny

What’s up, guys? (Getting my PointlessBlog on there!).

Heeeey everybody. Sorry this is sort of late going up – it’s been a hell of a day! So last night, former BFF crazies Paige and Alicia Fox squared off. For some reason, this match wasn’t on Raw and I think that’s a crime. But hey ho, at least this way I’m the one that gets to review it! (Haha, Jack!)

Paige is out first, sauntering her way to the ring in some killer fish nets. The commentators announce and eight diva traditional Survivor Series match for Sunday, which essentially seems to be Team Paige vs. Team Alicia. I’m going to think of it that way, alright? I love Survivor Series – it’s my favourite gimmick Pay-Per-View, right up there with the Rumble.

Alicia heads out to meet her former friend, and she looks FABULOUS. We’re shown a replay of their last encounter, which Paige won after hitting the RamPaige. The referee calls for the bell and we’re under way!

Things get scrappy, briefly, before Alicia gets the upper hand and locks Paige up. The former Divas champ quickly manoeuvres out of it and tries to outwit the Fox, but Alicia’s got other ideas and nails a shoulder block and a couple of drop kicks. She follows up with a picture perfect back breaker, right into the pin, and gets a count of two.

A nice exchange of wits follows, leaving Paige in control after a big kick to the jaw that lays Alicia out. Paige goes for the pin but left it a little too long, allowing Alicia to compose herself and kick out at two. Paige with the a headbutt now, before she sends Alicia into the corner and taunts her there.

Pulling her back out, Paige locks in her legs around Alicia’s waist. She wants to make her ex BFF tap – there’s a certain degree of psychology that comes with a submission victory. It’ll plant far more doubt in someone than a regular three count!

Paige is still in control now, and after a second unsuccessful pin attempt she hangs Alicia up on the middle rope and delivers those oh-so dangerous knees. Paige gets VERY UN-PG, up close and personal, but Alicia rolls through and steals the win!

Paige cannot believe it! Gotta be honest, didn’t see that coming.

But that’s not the only Diva action this week. Natalya had a sort-of-match, teaming with her husband Tyson Kidd to take on Adam Rose and The Bunny:

Natalya never gets physically involved with the match, which must be because the Bunny is male and falls under the WWE’s “no intergender wrestling” rule.. I kid.

Tyson makes the Bunny tap out to the Sharpshooter while Adam Rose watches. Natalya and the Rosebuds seem to be the only ones with hearts, as she tries to check on the bunny before Tyson pulls her away. Just one more wrench in their faltering relationship…

Thoughts: Alicia/Paige was a quick little match which did what was needed. It left Alicia looking stronger going into the match at Survivor Series, what with Paige winning the last round. I was pleased with the finish – I didn’t expect it right then, and thought it was a great little reversal.

Not a bad showing this week at all. I’m glad these two aren’t afraid to get too physical with each other, and I’m looking forward to Survivor Series!

Until next time guys, ciao! x

On tonight’s Impact, Taryn Terrell finally achieved her ultimate goal as a Knockout: winning the Knockouts Title.

In a Triple Threat match with champ Havok and Gail Kim, Taryn was able to use the numbers to her advantage, reversing a pin by Gail into one of her own while Havok was down and out.

This is Taryn’s first Knockouts Title win and her second career championship win, following one run with the OVW Women’s Championship.

Congratulations, Taryn!

On this day in history:

November 20th, 2011 | At Survivor Series 2011, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix defended her title against Eve Torres in a Lumberjill match. Eve fought hard to overcome the Barbie stereotype Beth and Natalya had hung on their fellow Divas, but she was laid out for the count by a move that Diva fans are still talking about: a top rope Glam Slam. That one explosive move was enough to secure the win for Beth and keep the Divas Title around her waist.

Impact Write-Up (November 19th, 2014): Taryn Gets Her Golden Moment

$
0

Take a deep long breath Knockout fans. As we’ve already heard earlier this year, after some nine plus years as partners, TNA and Spike TV will be going their separate ways at the conclusion of 2014. Now, that isn’t to say that we won’t be getting our Knockouts fix in 2015 as we’ve also learned that TNA has found a new TV home in Destination America. All that being said, TNA’s final episode of new material (for now) on Spike ended on a very high note for the Knockouts with a big Triple Threat match for the Knockouts Championship! As per Kurt Angle last week, it would be the champion Havok defending her title against both Gail Kim and Taryn Terell; so without further ado, let’s jump right into it!

Before we begin this Triple Threat match, we are treated to a small video package that spotlights the challengers while also highlighting the kind of force Havok has been since arriving to TNA. Gail Kim looking for redemption after Havok’s ambush attack towards her, winning the title and injuring her in the process. For the underdog Taryn Terell, this match is about proving herself and doing whatever it takes to become a champion! Emotions begin to bloom as this three way collision gets underway!

Out first to make her way to the ring, with pure determination in her face, is Taryn and right behind her, with some bandages still in place, is Gail Kim. Havok’s dubstep music sooks fills the arena and the champion slowly approaches the ring where both Gail and Taryn await for her, slowly eyeing the champion who raises her title prize in the middle of the ring.

As soon as the bell rings, both Gail and Taryn waste little time getting the offense on their towering opponent. Havok halts this double team strategy by sending both of her smaller opponents to the corner back to back. She then targets Taryn but Gail quickly makes a save and soon the teamwork against Havok is in play again.

The champion regains control of this triple threat match when she takes out Gail by sending her to the ring post shoulder first and delivering a heavy spine buster to Taryn. Quickly back on her feet, Gail flys to Havok and locks in her Flying Dragon submission, slowly wearing down the monster heel to the ground. Amazingly, Taryn locks in a submission of her own on Havok’s lower body part.

After their submission locks are broken, Gail and Taryn eyes meet and instantly, both send Havok out the ring with a double kick. From the apron, Taryn flies to Havok only to be caught in mid air. Following Taryn’s pattern, Gail too flies from the ring and takes out both Taryn and Havok. All three women are down as we head out to a quick break.

When we return from our commercial break, Gail and Taryn are in the ring battling it out. Gail whips Taryn to the corner and follows up with a clothesline. Gail goes for a second round but misses, giving Taryn a chance at a pin fall roll up. Gail manages to kick out but it doesn’t stop Taryn from trying again with a backslide pin attempt that is only ends up being a two count.

With no success at a pin fall, Taryn begins her attack on Gail. Landing a series of clothesline, a kick to the gut and a snap neck breaker. Taryn runs the rope but gets her leg caught from the outside by Havok who is still in this match. From the outside, Havok positions Taryn over her shoulders electric chair style and drops Taryn face first on the guard rail, nearly breaking her!

Looking to repeat her actions on Gail, Havok places Gail over her shoulders as well but Gail manages to fight her way out of it. Instead, Gail is punished with spine buster from the outside at the hands of Havok. Fully indulged in the damage she’s caused, Havok throws both Gail and Taryn back into the ring where she positions them side by side near a corner. Climbing to the second rope of the turnbuckle, Havok hits a big splash to both of her grounded opponents and goes for a double pin fall but Gail manages to get her shoulder up in time.

The teamwork of Gail and Taryn gets back into play when the two begin to send Havok to the corner. They send her over the top rope where she lays as Gail climbs a turnbuckle and lands a leg drop flinging the champion to the outside. With Havok out, it soon becomes a battle between Gail and Taryn.

Back in the ring, Taryn hits Gail with a series of forearms and sends Gail to the ropes but Gail dodges Taryn’s attack. With Taryn at the corner, Gail glides across the ring, throwing all of her body on to Taryn. Gail then climbs the turnbuckle, looking for high fly attack but Taryn gets up on time to stop her. Just before Taryn is able to supperplex Gail from the top rope, in comes Havok who power bombs Taryn sending both her and Gail straight to the mat.

With Gail and Taryn down, Havok goes for a second splash from the second rope in this match but misses. Taking advantage of the situation, Taryn traps Havok with a toe hold as Gail lands a DDT. This is followed up by two flying cross bodies, one from Gail and another by Taryn! The sequence of attacks to Havok roll on as Gail Kim delivers an Eat Defeat and not far from behind, Taryn hits the Cutter! (We really need a new name for that finisher) After delivering all that onto Havok, Taryn quickly goes for a pin onto Havok but it is broken by Gail who goes for her own jackknife pin. Taryn reverses this with one last pin for the three count, giving Taryn the win for the title!

The referee raises Taryn’s hand and awards with the Knockouts title. Emotions of joy run through Taryn’s face as se clutches on to her new belt. Showing good sportsmanship, veteran Gail Kim shakes the newly crowned champion and congratulates her with a hug as Taryn embraces everything one more time.

Thoughts: Wow! All I have to say is that the Knockouts all delivered this week! I thought this was a fantastic contest by all three women. There was that classic underdog story telling along with an emotion driven element before, during and after the match!

Kudos to TNA for giving this kind of match a generous amount of time. The Knockouts certainly made the most of it inside and outside the ring. The chain sequence at the end really was brilliant and fast paced that really you wonder how things were going to end!

I have to admit, I wish Havok’s reign would’ve lasted a bit longer but I’m relieved to see that Havok wasn’t the one who was pinned in this match. It protects Havok’s status as still being this dominating force and one that can still feud with Taryn.

Taryn has come such a long way in her career and you can’t help feel good after seeing this match and how she reacted after getting winning pin. I look forward to seeing how reign as Knockouts will play out.

Now comes the aftermath: As mentioned already, this was the last of new episode (unless TNA rushes a set of tapings) of Impact this year meaning we will have to wait over a month before seeing exactly what is in store for Taryn and the of the Knockouts and Superstars. While this seem like a bit of a price to pay, we can at least be relieved to know TNA was able to secure a new TV deal with Destination America; a network that already is promoting the hell out of TNA once 2015 arrives. I wish them all the best of luck once the new year arrives.

So, with the most likely possibility of no more weekly Impact Write-Ups following this year, I’d like to just say thank you to all the positive feedback everyone has given me since being given the opportunity of doing these Write-Ups. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading them as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them and I’m absolutely grateful for the opportunity given to me.

Hasta mas mas luego Knockout fans!

Today in History: Melina Kidnaps Trish Stratus to Get a Women’s Title Shot

On this day in history:

November 21st, 2005 | When Melina had her heart set on getting a shot at Trish Stratus‘s Women’s Title, she had her men Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury kidnap Trish from ringside during a match between Mickie James and Candice Michelle. The next thing Trish knew, she was bound to a chair in a dark room. Melina soon appeared and challenged her to a title match at Survivor Series. Trish accepted, and Melina mused on the thought of herself as Women’s Champion, saying, “Wouldn’t that be a kick in the head?” She then punctuated the thought with an actual kick to Trish’s head.

Lucha Underground Analysis (November 19th, 2014): Sexy Star Meets the Baddest Bitch in the Building

$

Greeeeeetings! Yes I know, this is late. Unfortunately life got in the way and there were tests I needed to go fail (Okay, I scored a D but it’s the failing thought that counts).

Anyways, enough about me… another Wednesday has passed and that means my personal favorite promotion, Lucha Underground, has bestowed upon us another episode to enjoy!

This week, Catrina takes the night off… BUT(!) we head back into the ring as Sexy Star faces Ivelisse in our first ever womens singles match for the company. Because I’ve delayed your recapping already with my awful test-taking, I’m going to jump right into the action and not stall any longer (promise!).

We immediately begin the show off with ring announcer, Melissa Santos, in the ring and ready to announce some lucha action. Also in the ring is none other than Sexy Star, making her grand return after being taken out of action by a vicious chair shot two weeks ago at the hands of Chavo Guerrero.

GASP!

Sexy Star has a microphone, and she speaks in Spanish but we are treated to subtitles at the bottom. She calls him a stupid coward and proclaims that the next time she sees him, he better bring that chair again because that’s the only way he will EVER beat her. She is going to embarrass him for what he did to Blue Demon. She is going to kick his ass for what he did to Mascarita Sagrada! And ultimately, for laying his hands on her, she with the hands of a true queen will FINISH the Guerrero Dynasty.

I need resuscitation.

Her opponent? Ivelisse! Ivelisse steps out from the back AND she has a microphone too! What have I done to deserve this blessed gift from the lord and savior of Boyle Heights? Ivelisse demands everyone shut up and her music stop playing because she has something to say. She makes fun of Sexy Star’s emotion and claims that Sexy got exactly what she deserved for messing with someone tougher than her. She can’t believe Sexy Star thinks she belongs with the boys, and proclaims Star to in no way be the baddest luchadora around here.

She steps into the ring and insults Sexy Star for hiding her “ugly face” behind an equally as hideous mask. Ivelisse feels that deep down in her core, Sexy Star (and all of the people in the temple) know that SHE is the baddest bitch in this building!

Take my money, Lucha Underground. Take it all. Take it now.

With that, Ivelisse blows a kiss and makes fun of Sexy Star, but ultimately receives a smack across the face for her troubles! We now get underway as Ivelisse charges and takes her down as the crowd goes wild! Sexy with a headlock from the get go until Ivelisse fights out and goes for a hip toss, but Sexy counters into one of her own! Arm drag! A little off spot, but they recover as Sexy Star matrixes through a clothesline attempt and nails a kick to the midsection! Hurricanrana! Front dropkick!

She charges for Ivelisse, but Velez moves out of the way and slams her face first into the corner. She starts choking Sexy Star out before taking her to the center of the ring and tossing her across the canvas. The crowd now begins an 80% Sexy Star/20% Ivelisse chant, as Velez tries to score the pinfall but ultimately isn’t able to. She slams Star’s face into the canvas and drags her around, before hoisting Sexy up as Star fights out! They trade kicks as Ivelisse takes control once again and starts nailing a few shots to the chest. She goes for a cover, but only gets a two.

Chin lock now applied, with the addition of a nose rake! Sexy tries to fight out, but Ivelisse is fish hooking! Star finally fights out as they trade shots and nasty chops. Sexy Star with a codebreaker! Both women try to reach a vertical base with the crowd split 50/50. Clothesline! Back elbow! Clothesline again! The crowd is into Sexy, as she mimics Chavo Guerrero’s multiple suplexes for just a two count. Sexy Star rakes on the hair, which sparks Ivelisse to SMACK the taste out of her mouth. Guillotine into a DDT! Just another two. Ivelisse can’t believe Sexy has kicked out, but this just goes to piss her off even more. She argues with the ref, but this allows Sexy Star to drop toe hold and roll her up for the win. Sexy celebrates, as Ivelisse lives to be angered another day!~

Thoughts: I’m a little split on this week as a whole, but just a little as I still very much enjoyed what we got. We’ll start off with the positives first and foremost… I LOVED the promo work! I am obsessed with the fact that they allow Sexy to speak spanish and give us a translation below. It also speaks to how well she can portray her emotions and really get into the acting aspect considering she has to use her facial expressions to sell what she’s saying to the audience who can only speak English… and that’s no easy task when 85% of your face is covered with a mask.

To me, it also continues to differentiate her from a lot of her fellow luchadors around (as if she needed anything more to do so) and just completes the full package of being a star overall. Her promo came off so strongly, and I’m beyond excited that it looks like they’re going to fully commit to this being an intergender feud and treat it as any regular program we’d see between two guys or two girls.

Ivelisse absolutely killed me as well. We needed this after how limited her introduction was, and I felt she by far delivered with the ball she was given to run with. Her promo was on fire, especially the part where she stood on the steps and screamed for everyone to shut up because this was her time to speak. I’ve never really gotten to see her work a mic like this on FCW or TNA from what I can remember, so I was kind of blown away at how much she’s grown as a performer since the days of Tough Enough. I loved her delivery of the “baddest bitch” line, in particular. She just really shined overall and it pains me that no company swooped her up (for good) when they had the chances. I’m just going to count it as a blessing in disguise though, because I kind of want to hear her scream that she’s the baddest bitch in the building on a weekly basis.

The match as a whole was a little off for me personally. Maybe I was so amped from the promos, but there seemed to be a lot of small edits here and there where you could tell the shot was changing to cover something up. I didn’t think it was a bad match at all though, but the edits did distract me a bit if I’m being honest. However, I’m not going to be one of those people that point blame at anyone because like I said a few weeks ago, this is a brand new promotion and a lot of people might just need time to click with their fellow roster members in order to find out what will work and what won’t.

I think as time goes on (especially when we get past the first batch of episodes taped which is where I will really be intrigued to see the growth), everyone will shine even brighter and we’ll get to see so much more than we’re getting now, which is already great in its own right. I mean there’s no way to improve your product than to test things out and see what works, and the same can be said when it comes to facing someone new in a ring, especially in an environment like this where you can’t face off on live events to speed up the comfortability. The more you get to work with them, the better your matches become and I really hope we get to revisit Ivelisse and Sexy in a singles match down the line when they get time to work more.

Overall I still felt this was a very good week if only for the promos. Ivelisse and Sexy Star both rocked that mic like nobodies business, and the future is looking bright in the form of an intergender feud between Star and Chavo Guerrero. I just hope they can still find a way to utilize Ivelisse because she is too good to be set aside. You embrace intergender, so maybe have Son of Havoc take out his frustrations over losing to Sexy Star on Ivelisse? I don’t want to take away the specialness of Sexy Star wrestling men, but I think that could actually work in its own right because there would be an actual story behind it since the tale was that he recruited Ivelisse as backup and she hasn’t gotten the job done yet, whereas he at least beat her in their singles match on the premiere.

The moral of this story, however: Catrina and Sexy Star’s roles are perfect… just give me more Ivelisse please!
