On this day in history:

October 16th, 2011 | Despite being one of the longest serving Knockouts in TNA, Velvet Sky had yet to capture the Knockouts Title. At 2011’s Bound For Glory, she had her shot, competing in a Four Corners match against champ Mickie James, Madison Rayne and Winter. Karen Jarrett served as referee and was particularly opposed to the idea of Velvet winning. However, a change in referees was necessary after Winter accidentally spit her blinding substance in Karen’s eyes, and Traci Brooks came in as the substitute. Traci ended up counting a pin for Velvet, crowning her Knockouts Champion for the first time.

What are your memories of this moment?
