On this day in history:
October 9th, 2000 | Lita‘s Women’s Title was on the line in a Hardcore match against Jacqueline. The WWE’s toughest Diva made her entrance pushing a shopping cart stocked with weapons and used several of them throughout the match, pummeling Lita with a garbage can and a hairdryer before trying (and failing) to spray her with a fire extinguisher. The Divas later upped the stakes by fighting on a ladder, but it was the fire extinguisher that tipped the scales: Lita sprayed Jacqueline in the face with it and struck her with a baking sheet to earn the win and retain her Women’s Title.
