September 27th, 2001 | The first season of Tough Enough featured only one future Diva: Nidia. She, along with Maven, were crowned victors in a live finale, aired on MTV and co-hosted by Trish Stratus. The above video, while not of the finale, shows Nidia in her audition, miles from the outlandish Diva she would soon be. Two women of note didn’t even make the cut for the first season: Jackie Haas, who would win season two, and TNA’s ODB. Nidia had a memorable WWE career in her own right, though it would only last until 2004.
