Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of the SmackDown Redux! This week we are treated to a mixed tag team match pitting Layla and Fandango against Emma and Santino… again. Check out the match below:
The guys start off the match for their respective teams, but that’s not why you came here, is it? After avoiding a knee drop from Fandango, Santino tags in Emma, who takes Layla out with the DilEMMA, followed by the EMMAmite Sandwich.
Emma pulls out her She-Cobra VenEMMA, looking for the win, but gets distracted by Fandango and Santino. Layla takes advantage of the situation and rolls Emma up to pick up the win.
Thoughts: Is it just me or is this feud getting a bit stale? It seems WWE is just recycling this match over and over without any storyline advancement at all. I mean, how many times can we see this match?
When Summer Rae returns, I see her feuding with Layla, but where does that leave Emma? There are so many Divas she could put on amazing matches with, but I don’t see that happening as long as she’s teamed with Santino. In any case, I just hope this storyline picks up some steam soon, because I’m pretty close to giving up hope.
