On this day in history:
February 18th, 2008 | Poor Maria Kanellis wanted to pose for Playboy, but her jealous boyfriend Santino wasn’t too enthusiastic about the idea. He wrote up a contract stating that she would only be allowed to pose for the magazine if she defeated Beth Phoenix. Clearly, Santino didn’t think Maria stood a chance against Beth, but he didn’t count on Candice Michelle returning and helping Maria get the victory. With the win, Maria was free to grace the cover of Playboy (and get that Playboy push).
What are your memories of this moment?
