On this day in history:
December 7th, 2008 | Christy Hemme was well practiced at playing the underdog, but it couldn’t get more David vs. Goliath than her facing Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong at Final Resolution 2008. If the odds couldn’t be more against her, Raisha Saeed and Rhaka Khan were there as well, attacking her outside the ring and eventually entering the ring to hand her a DQ victory. Christy wasn’t happy to see her Knockouts Championship hopes ripped away, and fought with Kong until officials tore them apart.
