On this day in history:
November 23rd, 2009 | With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Divas took part in what was dubbed a “Mayflower Melee”. The babyfaces (Kelly Kelly, Melina and Mickie James) were dressed as Native Americans. The heels (Jillian, Layla and Michelle McCool) were dressed as pilgrims and made their entrance to colonial music, looking none too pleased with the situation. Layla and Michelle eventually ditched Jillian, who was soon pinned by Melina. After the match, the Gobbledy Gooker, who watched the match at ringside, came into the ring and attacked Melina. The person in the suit revealed itself as Maryse, making a surprise return after being on the injured list since July. Well, that’s one way to make a dramatic return!
